Kady Stachiw

Kady graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2015 and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2016. She summered and articled with Rene Larson Law Office (as it was then) and has been with Larson Lawyers Professional Corporation since her call to the bar. Originally from Thunder Bay, Kady enjoyed living in Ottawa for her law school years but enthusiastically moved home to start practicing after graduation.

Kady’s practice focuses on real estate and wills and estates. She has been a Director of the Thunder Bay Law Association (TBLA) since 2016 and was recently appointed as the Secretary to the TBLA. She is a former lecturer at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, teaching the Wills and Estates course from 2017 – 2020. She is the former Thunder Bay Youth Curling Director and past Vice-President of the Port Arthur Curling Club. She is a provincial mixed curling champion, having won the 2013 Northern Ontario Mixed Curling Provincial Championship. In her spare time, she can be found throwing rocks at the curling club, back country camping in the Northwestern Ontario wilderness or running agility trials with her Sheepadoodle, Gus.
